The best part of attending a plant society show and sale is the unusual plants that can be found. There may be plenty of not-so-unusual plants, but there are always the plants you won’t find anywhere else. Plant society members are collectors and have propagated their plants for the sale.

A Sale Of Two Societies

Today, I went to Matthaei Botanical Gardens to help (not buy, of course) with the Michigan Cactus and Succulent Show and Sale. This is an annual sale and the Southeast Michigan Bromeliad Society has a sale at the same time. I had never attended before, as I was always working.
